Job search over?

After seven and a half months looking, and five and a half months actually out of work, I finally received an offer. I’m taking a few days to consider it. But thank God it’s there!

  Of course. Standard procedure. You never want to appear too eager, and they actually want you to take a few days to mull it over. Employers fear the prospect who jumps immediately. Plus, you want to give competing employers a chance to step it up…

Thanks all. It’s a relief in a big way, but then, I’ve been out so long it will be a big adjustment starting back to work…
